Numerous WCBA players were named all-stars at the Big Shots NC Tip-Off Tournament over the weekend, the first tournament of the season for most high school teams.

Three players from the 11th grade team were selected to the all-star team. Millbrook guard Phillip Burwell, Cary guard Jett Fortuny and Wake guard/forward Elijah Shabazz.

There players from the 10th grade teams were also named all-stars. Two players from the 10th Blue team were on the list -- Khalil Marshall of Pender and Tyler Gill of Millbrook. Henry Richardson of the 10th White team, who plays at Northern Nash, was also an all-star.
